Juliana Campos of Brazil won the women's pole vault with a second-attempt clearance at 14-4 (4.37m) at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational. Campos won her fourth straight competition and for the sixth time in seven meets this year, producing her best clearance this season. Campos, the No. 2 all-time female pole vaulter in Brazilian history, elevated to No. 14 in the world this year outdoors.
